It is so much fun! I love being able to talk to people about business ideas - vs typing on email or in a chat room. I’ve missed at least the past month or so of scheduled get togethers due to just not being on the computer during the times. But with the easy to read calendar over at the website, adding a time that works for you into your own calendar takes moments. I’ve loaded all of the meeting times into my Google Calendar so I won’t miss a thing!

So my Letter from Santa business was rockin’ this year. I increased the letters sent by about 85% from last year. Of course, last year we moved and left in early December - that means a good couple of weeks of not having that business available to me. That’s huge considering what the letters are for!
My goal next year is to increase by 35%. I know, not as high of a percentage but that is okay. I have a few ideas of how to get that. I need to get a new system in place for handling the emails and I’m glad I didn’t try to redo it before or during this season. The site is already automated but it needs to be tweaked here and there. I’m going to hold off for a few months and then work on it as I have other projects that need to get off the ground!
Of course if you would like your own Letter from Santa business, check out what my friend Nicole Dean had a hand in putting together.

I own a Letter From Santa website ~ for the past two years I have written to kids all over the US and Canada on behalf of Santa. A couple of weeks ago I was going through my list, making sure everything was ready to go and got set to mail a batch of letters out.

Then my five year old daughter walked in. She asked what I was doing with all the stickers and envelopes with Santa on them. I told her I am Santa’s helper, he is so busy that he needs lots of helpers.

She said “Why are you lying”

It was really hard not to start laughing! I explained to her that I was a helper and helping is not lying. She seemed satisfied with that answer and after grabbing a few stickers, went about her day.

If you want to be a Santa’s helper, go here to find out how to start your own Santa Letter Business.

Here’s my list of what I wish Firefox did for me ~

I love the tabs, I even love the colored tabs. I have my options set to order the websites I visit daily - gmail, google, my blog dashboards, a couple of forums, etc. It also opens my customize daily list - where I have my to do list as well as affiliate sites listed. (This is just housed on my computer so it’s just a file opening up.)

I want Firefox to keep the list of which websites I want opened in tabs - and rotate them accordingly. Let’s say I have a blog that I co-author with others - and I’d like to post to that blog once a week. Firefox opens the website every time I open Firefox - at least once, sometimes twice a day (I often keep it open so there isn’t multiple restarting). But I don’t want to see that blog that I only write to weekly opened up every time.

I suppose I could utilize my daily file that opens more - I could set up daily, weekly, etc. tasks and the links and thus have less tabs opening. But really, I’d like Firefox to do what I want. Of course I have no idea how that would get done!

What do you want your favorite browser to do? Why?

I knew that number was on iTunes but admit I only looked at it a few times, if that. I looked after reading her post, and I have MUCH more then Leesa. I’m not even going to say because it is so much more. LOL

But I’m betting quite a bit of that is podcasts I keep, which means I’ve already listened to it. I wonder how much I haven’t listened to though? I use my ipod as well as listen on my computer, so I listen while I work out, go for walks or work on something around the house.

The Thirty Day Challenge is nearing an end - and I won’t be making that dollar. I’m not upset - far from it! I am working right along and because of the type of product I am creating, I knew I wouldn’t make the first sale so quickly. More likely in the next thirty days.

How about you? Have you created a product and made a sale? For the 30 day challenge, it is about following what they say each day AND actually doing what you need to do. It’s the taking action that is important! Stop worrying about something and just run with it. Better to have to go back and make a few spelling changes or such then to not have anything. Pick your topic and run with it!

A quick note to say that after this evening I completely understand how people from last year ended up starting over on day 14 or so.

I started with three ideas - broad ideas at first, of course. A few days into the challenge, I scrapped one idea all together. Now we are in the last few minutes of Day 9 and I have a *new* idea as well as two old ones. I’m not implementing anything about the new idea until I feel out my other ideas first. Blogging about my topics are great because I can see how much searching is out there for my topic. It really is about the numbers.

I’ve been online for a few hours now and oddly enough, I’m not tired. I do have the kids to take care of tomorrow (as I do everday - LOL) so I know I need sleep. But I am excited about my thoughts so I need to get them on paper first.

Ed and Frank (or FrEd as I’ve seen it posted over at the forum) have given us the weekend off. Well, technically not off as in hang out, go to the beach or veg on our couch. Off as in no new instructional videos or podcasts for the weekend.

Which of course is a great time to play catch up to the past seven days. So far today I have blogged on two of my blogs and set up aweber. I wrote down a very basic list of what we were to do on each day and am going back to doing what I missed. I still need to write some messages, and a few other tasks. But I do have the rest of today and tomorrow to get to where I need to be.

I am feeling great about this challenge. I have a lot of ideas of new markets - though I’m not branching out, I’m writing them down for a later date. I am enjoying finding information about my niches, and already decided that one of them was just a bad idea and deleted it all together. Should I have deleted already? Well this was on Day Six, which was Gut Check Day - and my gut was saying delete!

It’s dinner time here so I’m off to feed my kids and then I’m coming back because I WILL earn my dollar, I will complete the process and I will be in San Diego come September.
